We are at 1 Water Vole Way in Doncaster, and nineteen of our twenty seven published projects are inside the county: sixteen in Doncaster and three in Sheffield. That is the whole point of hiring somebody local. We can be on your site the same morning, we know what a South Yorkshire building is likely to throw at us, and you can go and stand in half a dozen rooms we have finished before you decide.
Design is the part that decides what the build costs.
Commercial interior design is not decoration. It is working out what the space has to do, testing layouts against how people actually use it, and specifying every finish, fitting and piece of furniture in enough detail that a contractor can price it without guessing. Get it right and the build is an execution job. Get it wrong and the build becomes a series of decisions made on site by whoever is standing there, which is how projects end up costing what they cost.
It also covers the part most people think of last: how the place looks like you. Colour, materials, joinery, lighting, signage and graphics are what turn a tidy office into somewhere that says who you are without a sign explaining it. We do brand work as well as interiors, so on a lot of projects those two are decided together rather than one being retrofitted onto the other.

We draw it, and then we build it.
Most commercial interior designers hand you a drawing pack and wish you luck. We can do that, and plenty of clients want exactly that. But we also build and furnish, which means when the plasterboard does not meet the drawing, or the joinery arrives two millimetres out, that is our problem to solve rather than an argument for you to referee between two firms you are paying separately.

Are you actually based in South Yorkshire?+

Do you only do offices?+
No. Offices are most of it, and alongside them we have delivered restaurants, coffee shops, a bakery, retail, education and four jobs inside a football stadium. The process is the same; what changes is what the space has to survive.
Will you design it if somebody else is building it?+
Yes, and it is a normal way to work. We can produce the concept, the visuals, the technical drawings and the specification for a contractor you already have. It works best when that split is agreed at the start rather than discovered on site.
Can you do the branding as well?+
Yes, and on a lot of projects it is better done together. On New Shoots Coffee Shop we did the identity and the interior as one piece of work, so the logo, the signage and the room were designed at the same time rather than one being fitted around the other afterwards.
What will it cost?+
It depends on the size of the space and how much of it changes, so any single figure on a page would be a guess at your building. Our estimator asks a few questions about yours and gives you a working range in about two minutes, with no email required.
How far outside South Yorkshire do you go?+
Most of our work is inside the county. We have also delivered in Chesterfield, Flixborough, Glasgow, London and across five sites for a national brand, so distance is not a rule so much as a question of whether it makes sense for both of us.
