Bold interior concept for new quick-serve brand.
Po-Boys, a new quick-serve restaurant brand inspired by the flavours and culture of the deep south, needed a design concept that would bring their bold identity to life.
The challenge was to create a visually striking, functional interior that captured the essence of their brand while being adaptable for rollout across multiple locations.
To kickstart their journey, we developed concepts for their first two locations: a standalone site in Sheffield and a vibrant stall at The Wool Market in Doncaster. The designs had to balance practicality with an engaging customer experience, setting the stage for future growth.
Four moves that transformed the space.
Drawing inspiration from Louisiana’s vibrant culture, we used bold colours, layered textures, and playful graphic patterns to infuse the space with energy and personality. This ensured Po-Boys’ brand stood out visually and resonated with their target audience.
We optimised the flow of the space by creating clear zones for ordering, collecting, and dining. Each element was designed with the customer journey in mind to enhance efficiency and ease of use.
The design was created to be scalable, ensuring key elements such as wall graphics, finishes, and signage could be easily adapted to different sized spaces without losing the essence of the brand.
From feature walls to bespoke signage, every detail was carefully curated to create a memorable environment that draws attention and reinforces the brand’s story.
The concept designs successfully translated Po-Boys’ vision into a bold and functional interior. The adaptable framework ensures the design can be easily replicated across various locations, providing consistency while allowing for localised tweaks.
With its striking visuals and seamless customer flow, the design sets the brand apart in the competitive quick-serve market, creating a distinctive identity that leaves a lasting impression.
Designing a brand built to grow.
For a new hospitality brand, the first space can set the direction for every location that follows. For Po-Boys, the challenge was to create an interior concept with enough personality to make the brand instantly recognisable, while ensuring the key design elements could work across different formats and footprints. From bold graphics and finishes to signage and customer flow, the concept was developed with future locations in mind. The project shows the value of thinking about scalability from the beginning. A strong hospitality concept isn't just designed for one site; it creates a recognisable framework that can evolve with the business without losing what makes the brand distinctive.
The finished space.
