A dated ground floor for a growing tech brand.
Dolphin ICT approached District Four Design during a key expansion phase. They wanted to elevate their workspace beyond just function, it needed to reflect their innovative brand, support team productivity and leave a lasting impression on clients and visitors.
The challenge was to reimagine a dated ground floor space into a modern, vibrant and comfortable environment for their team to work in.
Four moves that transformed the space.
We introduced a bold wall graphic along the main corridor to create a strong first impression, with colours and forms carefully chosen to reflect Dolphin ICT's brand identity and tech-forward ethos. This was complemented by a matching stairwell graphic and a full-height artificial moss wall with the Dolphin logo, creating an immediate brand presence from the moment you enter.
The boardroom features custom acoustic panelling designed to improve sound quality during meetings. The panels also cleverly conceal a storage door, maintaining a clean, uninterrupted finish that elevates the overall aesthetic. We continued the acoustic treatment into the office spaces with shaped wall panels, creating a consistent design language throughout.
We supplied and installed new desks and task chairs across both ground floor office spaces, carefully selected to suit the team's working styles and support day-to-day comfort. The new layouts were planned to improve flow and create a more practical and professional working environment.
Decoration was carried out throughout in brand-aligned colours, complemented by curated wall prints that added personality and cohesion. New flooring was also installed in the main entrance and stairwell to complete the transformation with a polished, professional finish.

The transformed space now captures exactly who Dolphin ICT are, progressive, friendly and full of personality. Every design move had a purpose, to bring clarity, character and energy into the workspace. The team now operates in a visually cohesive, acoustically balanced environment that boosts morale, impresses visitors and reinforces their brand at every turn.

Your workplace is one of the biggest physical expressions of your brand, particularly for a business welcoming clients through the door. For Dolphin ICT, the opportunity was to create an environment that felt as progressive and full of personality as the business itself. From bold graphics and brand-led colour to acoustic detailing, furniture and feature finishes, each element was considered as part of the overall experience rather than in isolation. The project shows how bringing brand and workplace design together can create more than a good-looking office. It can give employees a space that feels like their own while making sure clients experience the same business in person that they see everywhere else.
