Office Refurbishment for
Kingswood.
A dated office with no defined meeting space.
Kingswood approached District Four Design to modernise their office environment and create a workspace that better supported their team while presenting a more professional image to visitors and clients.
The existing office had become dated, with inconsistent lighting, tired finishes and no clearly defined meeting space. While the layout worked from a functional perspective, the environment lacked the visual quality and clarity expected of a modern workplace.
The brief was to refresh the office through targeted upgrades, introduce a dedicated boardroom and improve the overall working environment without requiring a full structural redesign.
Four moves that transformed the space.
We introduced glazed partitioning to create both a private office and a dedicated boardroom. This allowed the workspace to gain more privacy and structure while still maintaining openness and natural light.
A full redecoration and new flooring were introduced across the office to modernise the environment and create a cleaner, more cohesive workspace.
We focused on a series of carefully considered upgrades, including decorative finishes, flooring and furniture, to significantly elevate the overall look and feel of the workspace.
Existing lighting was upgraded to energy-efficient LED panels, while new furniture was supplied throughout the office and boardroom to improve comfort, usability and the overall working environment.
Brighter, more contemporary, more professional.
The completed refurbishment has transformed Kingswood's office into a brighter, more contemporary working environment that better reflects the professionalism of the business.
The introduction of glazed partitioning has created a dedicated boardroom without sacrificing openness, while the updated lighting, flooring and redecoration have significantly modernised the space. Combined with the new furniture and decorative finishes, the office now provides a more comfortable and professional environment for both staff and visitors.
Making spaces work harder.
Not every workplace needs a complete redesign to make a noticeable difference. The Kingswood project shows what can be achieved through a series of targeted, well-considered improvements. By focusing investment on the areas that would have the greatest impact, from creating a dedicated boardroom to upgrading lighting, flooring, finishes and furniture, we were able to transform the feel and functionality of the office without unnecessary structural changes. For businesses working with an existing space and a defined budget, a considered refurbishment can often be enough to create a workplace that feels more professional, works better for the team and makes a stronger impression on clients.
